Question about texting before a date

Hey guys I just wanted some advice on texting before a date. I have a date set in with a girl for about 4-5 days time. Is there any need to text her before the date other than to confirm on the day or should I leave it, if I do, what should I say? I only recently discovered PWF.

Text very spatially. Alternate day or lesser is the way to go

If date is set within 1-2 days, you can simply confirm the night before or the day off.
If the date is a few days/weeks out, it can be effective to have at least 1 small conversation somewhere in the middle to keep the lead warm but don’t over do it. If not, at the very least confirm the date one day prior. A few days of not taking could be enough for the girl to forget or easily flake if confirming the day of the date.
