Please Help Choose Photos
Hi Alex and friends. I'm trying to get back into online dating after putting a lot of effort into pictures and the gym. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me pick out a few pictures to use for the major apps.
Sorry that there are so many pics, I can try to narrow it down if this is too many. Also if there's a particular concept/background that looks promising, but my facial expression is off, I can show you more as I take many pics in each spot as recommended.
I know I'm still a bit skinny and I'm continuing to work on it. I put on 15 lbs over the last year while lifting hard, will try to put on another 15 in the next 9 months. Can't do anything about growing a beard unfortunately unless I get on Rogaine.
Your best photos are 2, 11, 18, 25, 29, 30, but you need to make sure thereâs a balance of facial expression / poses, it would be weird if youâre looking the same direction in every picture, etc.
11 and 17 are the only ones I like. Unfortunately, they all look very posed. I would also play a bit with the faceapp and add better expressions/filters

12, 15, and 17 are really good! For sure would use those.
I think you need to practice posing more. Most of these look too posed/awkward. I think thatâs an easy fix. You just need to look more natural.
Your scenery, traveling (DHV), clean haircut and outfits/style is all solid bro.
avilench . Hey Alex, could please take a look at these if you have a min? Got a few different opinions here, but there isn't really a consensus on which pics to use, if any.

9, 15, 17 & 18 would be my picks.
Advice: less downward angles, focus on looking more natural, and more variety. I imagine you're going with your best angle, but you have to change it up for some of them, my guy

Thanks for your advice. Yeah I've found that my best angle is with my left side profile slightly showing, are you saying I should have some that are like straight-on? In terms of looking more natural, are there things you'd recommend to do it? In a lot of these I took them while walking around and not looking at the camera so that was my attempt at looking natural.

To expand both on Stuartâs and my comment on being natural.
For instance, thereâs a few of the âtouching watchâ pose. Thatâs doesnât seem natural. Also, you didnât pull it off that well, looks more like youâre caught off guard touching your wrist.
Thereâs a few where youâre holding a glass of wine. Those look awkward/unnatural. Especially 14 where you looked zoned out. To be very nit picky, the way youâre holding the wine glass with your hand seems awkward/improper (but Iâm not a wine expert so what the hell do I know on that specifically)
