Like I can't see exactly what you wrote and how you got to that line which matters. By the way should be, "Just finished a killer workout, looking sharp for our romantic date." I am not sure what you wrote but even deviations can hurt you sometimes.
As is, her first response is a shit test. I would respond with "depends" and then she would say "depends on what" and you would say "if you're going to be on your best behavior or if you're going to be a naughty girl."
you would have probably gotten a playful reply or another small shit test in which case it would probably lead to "only one way to find out, do you like wine?"

As imo a woman wants the guy to be way more confident than her, and to seduce her.
If a girl responded "quite excited are we" to me, I would have just played it off if the vibe is playful "so is my puppy" or if its sexual then maybe something like "just wait till we meet in person"
