Should I ask what happened?

Or maybe something like "Do we have to be dating?" I guess I did kinda go back and forth between suggesting fwb versus dating

“Don’t worry, third times a charm ;)” if you wanna be cheeky and leave an opening for her to respond

Or if you’re feeling bold

“Sorry to hear these boys haven’t treated you right, they must not understand that older women have a much higher sex drive, and crave multiple screaming orgasms!”

I like the first a little but definitely not the second. It just doesn't make sense to sexualize because you would be going from 2 to 8, she also hasn't mentioned anything about not being fulfilled sexually. I think it has more to do with the fact that she's worried you're immature or you will be like the others in her past.

Also, don't use the "you might like it" line, it comes off as arrogant and just unnecessary. You can just cut to the chase and say that you vibe and it would be a shame/anti-climatic to not even give it a chance, or use the "I've dated older women etc." line right there. This leads me to my final point, how to respond..

I would personally go with something like "You didn't strike me as a pessimist..Look I understand you've had bad experiences in the past but you shouldn't keep letting them define newer better experiences with different people. I like you and I think we vibe well, it would be so anti-climactic to end things without even meeting up for a quick drink"

A line like that will hopefully get her to question her own logic and help her realize that it's just one quick drink after all.

Lmk how it goes, goodluck bro!!
