I’ve got a one other set up like this at the moment for when I come home from vacation, but I like to do my dates within a few days typically so I’m not sure how to go about solidifying this one given it won’t happen for another week. I don’t like having a dragged out convo since I suck at texting but I think not saying anything wouldn’t help either

Tbh, I find girls who reply too easily for a meetup are often guaranteed to be flakes. Not sure how to fix it exactly outside of qualifying them more (which they then proceed to ghost) but others chime in if you have suggestions.

i would get the number, say "perfect, shoot me your number"

Then call her in 2 days. If she picks up the phone, say "Hey X! it's Jacob, what are you up to? Cool... I'm doing blablabla. What do you say we meet at my place and share a bottle of wine on my romantic patio?"
If she says "Sure!" just say "Okep, I'll send you my adress, you don't seem like a weirdo... At least not right now. Are you free saturday or sunday? Cool, does X pm work for you? Alright, gotta go, I'm looking forward to see you... Bye!"
And if she doesn't feel comfortable coming over to your place, just do a public date.

I like this. I'm just a bit self-conscious about my voice so I have a hard time feeling confident over calling. I've never lost out on a date by calling first though so I think this is the right move.
