I met this girl on IG and we Facetimed. Turns out we knew each other. She said "when you going to ask me out?". So I did. We agreed to meet Thursday. I'm not trying to pull, not my style. But I also don't want to go to dinner. It's a 1st date and I'm not about to drop a load of cash on a broad. I'm not cheap but I'm not a sucker.
So I suggested we meet at a coffee shop. The shit test commences. I want to meet her as she's hot and we have come things in common. So how to respond in a non-needy way without being a dick?

I personally wouldn’t entertain it. She seems like she’s just after a free meal, going off the screenshots. But you could play it off in a playful way if you still wanted to meet her.

Or you can just be straight up and tell her you’re trying to do something more lowkey. If she’s into it, cool. If not, also cool.
Personally I’d do the latter. You get your point across and you also show your willingness to walk away while setting up your boundaries.
