So last week I had a party at my place with about 15-20 heads, mainly my friends and their plus ones/twos. One of my buddies invited his old coworker and she ended up bringing her friend who was an absolute baddie. Essentially all the single guys in the house were shooting their shots.
Ended up spending a bit of one on one time with her later in the night. There was some good banter and I attempted to escalate, but pulled back when she told me how she was feeling shame about how everyone was trying with her. She was chalking it up to her flirtiness, and I agreed, mentioning how it wasn’t a bad thing to express sexuality with someone you have chemistry with. At that point I already had gotten her number.

DHVing yourself by saying you have a lot going on
Build interest by using "we" frame

Oh man. There is a lot of choadiness going on here. So if a chick tells me that everyone is trying to get with her I’d say “I know me too. Sucks being this good looking”. Steal the frame
In terms of texting again. You are coming off as way too much of a “nice guy”. You can’t go into choad mode just because a chick gets hit on a lot

Totally makes sense. I will say tho that in our interaction the attraction was strong and our chat had a pretty down to earth vibe. I thought on the initial text I could play it a bit softer.
I still am not quite sure how to move things forward. I wouldn’t call it dead yet.
