Money has been tight recently but I don’t want to let that stop me from going on dates and getting laid. I don’t know what to do at the moment but try to work my ass off until I can afford the course

Quickest way is to get good photos, update your profile & cold approach bro..

I'd change the order to cold approach, learning how to text (you got everything here via PWF) and OLD is secondary.
Dates can be free (walk, beach, any activity) or cheap (coffee, ice cream, bottle of wine somewhere or at yours).
