I (27y/o) have had this older FWB (41y/o) from Feeld for the past four months. We both agreed from very early on it wouldn’t get serious for a whole host of reasons, some of which are obvious. And she knows very well I’ve been seeing other women my age (that’s one of her kinks). She’s helped give me confidence I’ve never had before. But now the time has come to be making some roster cuts like an NBA GM, and although I’m not currently seeing anyone exclusively, I frankly have too many women around my age on my roster to even bother with an old lady anymore. We call on the phone a bit, but we haven’t seen each other in a month now. I’ve turned down her last two attempts to have me come over last minute for different reasons, and I also went silent from her last text to me on Friday. And now I’ve concluded that I’m just not that into her anymore.

Should I end it via text or call? I already have an idea of exactly what I’d say (“I’ve enjoyed our times together but my plate’s getting fuller so I can’t give you the time or energy you need anymore). She only lives a half hour away from me but I wouldn’t wanna do it in person lest she think I’m tryna fuck.

EDIT: I actually eventually called her to talk at the end of that week, and it ended up being a brief 7-minute call. I basically said what I would’ve sent over text and she understood. quick and painless
