How do you deal with a guy who talks shit about you to the girl you are seeing?

How do you defend yourself when she tells you all the bad things he say about you (they are co-workers) but yet he never even met you before?
Only going off his assumptions by your pictures and making up shit like don’t trust him, he looks like a player, hes gonna hurt you, he isnt serious about you, etc. and then she comes and tells you “im not sure if i can trust you” now when i didn’t even do anything or meet those guys

She is trying to play her concerns on you for whatever reason, you should say something like "I don't know where this is coming from but I don't like it" and make a distance from her.
But if she just feels like she doesn't get much attention from you - "hey come here" and hug.

first off, i would discreedit the source. Yopu can point out the fact that this guy is "being a white knight" he is just trying to bang her, but doesnt have the balls to actually go for it.
That would be the best defeense here. Also, it is important to not seem fazed. You almost wanna laugh it off. And point out what i mentioned.
