High Volume / Low Investment Strategy or Low Volume / High Investment Strategy - which is better?
If you live in a city of 5 million with a constant churn of new profiles, you’re operating an infinite pool. If you’re getting a steady stream of matches, a high volume low investment strategy is the best approach.
One huge change I’ve noticed over 10 years of online dating is girls today seldom initiate, nor do they invest much by asking questions, responding in a timely manner etc. Maintaining a real time conversation over text is difficult in these overstimulated ADD times.
Having said that, girls today are much more inclined to meet quickly with little upfront “comfort” provided you msg her at the right time and she’s in the right state - ideally the same night or within 1-3 days max. Think of it like a hand grenade - the longer you wait the more likely it’ll blow up.
Thus, a high volume low investment “strike while the iron is hot or keep moving” approach can line you up 1-3 dates each week via maximizing exposure in a big city.

I think most guys don't really have an option in this. They either get a shit load of matches, & so they don't have enough time to really invest in each conversation (High volume/low investment) or they don't get many matches & so they need to take the opposite approach. Personally, I like high volume, slightly below moderate investment. The hotter the girl, the more energy I invest.
I disagree with the part about having to meet with a day or two. That's a common misconception in the pickup community I think. A lot of times a girl isn't free to meet right away & requires a bit of ahead of time planning to make the date happen. I would say well over half of my Lrs involve situations where the meet-up was more then a few days away from when the conversation began.

I've had over 30 girls come straight to my place from Tinder/Bumble/Hinge in the last two years.
The vast majority came over the same night we matched or within 1-3 days max - any more and they lose interest. Strike while the iron is hot or she'll forget about you and move on to another guy.
Location may also be a variable. I'm a city of 5 million+ so the pool is infinite with a constant churn of new girls signing up for Tinder and Bumble every week - enough volume to maximize exposure to find girls who are DTF.
