I wouldn't over think it. The same type of opener could work in both if those scenarios. Personally, with hinge I like to comment on the picture as my opener. I will pick the pic where she looks very innocent or is doing something goofy and write " Hey trouble" . Or, you can qualify her a bit with the opener ' swipe right for sexy tattoos" . I haven't used Hinge in a long time (I have a Hinge LR) because I've been traveling the past year. If you open with their photos, try some cold reading. "You look like the type of girl..." or "There's something about you but I can put my finger on it yet" or "You have perfect facial structure" this one oddly works every time. It's such a unique compliment.
