No, I don't think you lost any value by telling her you switched jobs. Most chicks don't care about that. Your follow up text is fine, but remove the "Haha" part from it. In general you want to minimize the use of "Hahas" and "Lols" that make your texting sound feminine.
Alex I never paid attention but do you use lol's or haha's at all? lol

No answer a week later. Should I just give it more time or try again?

Hey, bro. It’s your attempt at closing. You need to soft close before you hard close.
Soft Close:
You: Mhm ;) do you like wine
Them: love wine :)
You: Haha nice. Red or White
Them: usually red....blah blah blah
You: Perfect :) let’s split this bottle of (whatever) I got sometime soon
Them: haha sounds good :)
Hard Close:
You: Mhm ;) what’s your schedule like
Here’s a line that normally works in terms of transitioning from text buddy back and forth to setting up the date:
“I can tell you’re super passionate about your career. Don’t tell me much now. I’d rather hear & see you talk about it. Just more organic and authentic that way. Call be old fashioned haha”
Or
“Hey don’t tell me all the good stuff now. We still have a whole date to go on ;)”
