Having great convo. As you can see by timestamps, she was replying super fast. She even agreed to grab coffee earlier.
But then I said "Damn I didn't realize you're this cool" and she instantly stopped replying. She obviously saw the message. I should've thought a little before sending that since I realize now it came off as a backhanded insult. She seemed super playful so I didn't think it would do any harm. If I had just sent the other message about us having so much in common, I think I would've been fine.
I obviously don't wanna just say "sorry" or "hope that didn't come off the wrong way" but how would you guys suggest following up on that?

I don't really see how she could take it the wrong way. Seems like you'd really have to twist the phrase to make it anything other than a compliment.
Don't apologize though., that's a low-T move. Own it and move on.

I don’t think it’s that bad, but thoughts like that you keep to yourself unless you’re going somewhere with it.
So now I suggest either going somewhere with it, “So what else does cool girl get up to” (I wouldn’t use that just an example) , or recalibrating to something else
