Hi y'all -
I'm new to the Playing with fire community. Wanted to ask a general question...
I just got back on Tinder, but I have more (and better quality) matches on Hinge. The issue I keep running into is, the conversation will start off strong, she'll respond quickly, and then all of a sudden, for no apparent reason, she'll slow responding or stop altogether.
I try to revive it by following up with some lines from Alex. Sometimes they reengage but most of the time it doesn't last.
I'll include some screenshots here of a few convos. Hopefully from these you can see the kind of thing that's going on.
Any wisdom woud be much appreciated!!

"That's the best news I've heard all week". That comes across extremely needy. That communicates that you don't have a happy life that a stranger telling her schedule to you brightened up your week. I would recommend watching more of the lay report breakdowns on the YT channel

After her "Lol no shit..." message re the left-handedness you should've switched topic and not made another comment (a very logical comment). You killed your own interaction with that.

Generally, you could try for the soft close just then when your interactions start to fade. Instead of saying "I lived in LA for 3 yrs" (again, a very logical answer) you could say something to vibe more and that then leads you to suggest a date.

Thanks Herb. Could you give a couple examples of “something to vibe more”

Just seeing now, your "So you like cats and dogs. What more do I need to know about you?" is too much of a question. Go with something simple to reinitiate "happy Taco Tuesday; Happy Friyay" or the Ryan Gosling Happy x day meme.
They work so well as it's easy to answer with a simple "hiiii" or whatever girls say. haha

To your "vibe" question: You could ask something about how she's finding living in Austin now. Can be normal boring like "And how have you adapted to life in Austin?" or something more fun like "How do you find it living amongst cowboys now?" etc. You get the gist.
