i like calling. but i have good verbal game as well. i usually do it if she wants or there’s a lot to discuss and our texts back and forth have been slow.
My verbal game is average but this girl just takes way too long to respond. She just one of those girl that aren’t attached to their phone.

just go slow. i’ve met a couple girls recently that i was texting for three weeks. as long as she’s responding that’s good. but if she’s taken a day to respond don’t respond quickly either. crest a void for her to fill. girls like slow persistence.

I’ve actually done a bunch of experiments with this. My disclaimer is still to handle things on a case by case basis.
Here are a few discoveries:

The sentiment for the most part is to attribute a level of confidence/ uniqueness to you. (e.g. “Hey, haha. Wow, I don’t think I’ve had a guy do something like this....blah blah”)

With that being said, if your verbal game is struggling... it’s gonna be wasted effort. However, you’re likely to be given more of a benefit of the doubt given the circumstances (i.e. the fact that a lot of people are kinda awkward over phone)

If you’re gonna call out of the blue, do so at a well calculated time. The element of surprise can work in your favor (i.e “emotion spikes”)

Again, with appropriate verbal game, it can move things forward quicker
With all that being said. Let’s try to not take too many shortcuts. Use it at your discretion and as one of many tools available to you. Text game is still very important. I mean....how would you get the number in the first place, right?

I tend to only do phone calls when necessary, in large part because I’m just busy. But one big thing I will say is don’t judge call out of the blue but set it up over text
