Followed the guidelines Alex put out on cold ig dm. Had a suboptimal soft close and she liked my message. Overall the convo was smooth and she seems invested.
How should I proceed from here if she just likes it.

Yeah man, your texting was pretty bad here. You used the "am I wrong" takewaway in te wrong situatin. In terms of moving forward you could just say something like "Do you like wine" and than go for the close after she responds
