I can’t tell from this girl’s photos if she’s attractive enough for me to want to continue towards the meetup. Any advice on how to proceed now that she’s given me her number and the next step is to transition to text? I tried her # on Facebook and Google search. I also input it into TrueCaller (a website used to identify unknown numbers). I realize I could still reverse image search her Hinge photos, but I want to give the private investigator shtick a rest and hopefully learn something instead. Any suggestions on the best way to smoothly transition to getting her social media?

Text her back "Do you also have instagram or facebook? I can't really tell what you look like from your Tinder pics" . Do it on Tinder though, not over text
If she's the obnoxious type (very rare) she might text back "why, is appearance what counts most to you?"
To which you reply "No, but I mean... What if you had 2 teeth and smelled like chicken? That's something I need to know"
But again, that's very rare. I'm just preparing you with an answer in case it happens.

Yep. Just ask her for her insta and when I ask I don't tend to give a reason unless she asks really. Something like "Btw what's your insta?"

Thank you Neder and Sam for the feedback. . I'm tending towards Sam's advice (not giving a reason). I'll probably reply "Perfect. I'll shoot you a text this weekend. Btw what's your Insta (or FB)?"
