Can anyone confirm if Tinder reduces the quality of Android photos but not Iphone?

Every picture I upload looks pretty bad because tinder lowers the resolution like crazy but a lot of girls that I see when I swipe have crystal clear images. Ive heard that its because the Iphone app doesnt adjust the quality. Is there any way around this or do I literally need to buy an Iphone lol.

Im pretty sure youre right, Iphone somehow always has better quality. You can try a third party camera app, but I dont know if that would work. Good Luck - Juicy Jester

I only noticed this when i tried to get pics from my old phone uploaded to tinder on my new phone. Both are androids. A trick to help (doesn't completely cure it) is to go on your photo app of the pic you want and take a screenshot of it and upload the screenshot to tinder. For me at least that made the quulality a little bit better

That would explain why all my photos turn to fat heaps of shit once they get on my tinder. Annoying as hell using blurry photos
