Booths in bars
here is a place i have used in the past with good success which has a booth... noticed many times i would be across from the girl which isnt good... sometimes i would be able to sit next to her after a drink or something...does anyone have some polished ways of getting closer to the girl when sitting in a booth? i mean there are times when i would tell a girl i am going to sit next to her and she would say not just yet or something like that which can tell you about attraction level etc... any thoughts?
Don't love booths because it can set it an interview-style vibe which I'm not a fan of + the point of booths is not for you to sit next to her like I was saying earlier, you generally sit across. Personally prefer just a bar or standing tables. There isn't really a way of getting 'closer' to her per se if you're already sitting across from here because it's a little weird. If you really love booths or the place you go to, I would just immediately sit next to her when you get into the booth. If she says something like "What are you doing?" - Play it off playfully and say something like "Oh I hate sitting across from people haha it's weird" etc. - Problem 'solved'
Hope this helps mate

If I am going on a "date" I bar hop. Usually I greet them with a kiss on the cheek hold their hands and look at them and say something along the lines of they look stunning or they look fucking stunning and guide them to the line at the bar. Don't mind sitting across from them at a booth at the first bar, usually we've already been physical right off the bat from greeting, talking in line to eventually the table. Often sharing drinks. Ask to see the rings on their hands, if they have any meaning. Hold their hands see if they hold or caress yours. When we walk or uber to the new bar I often will grab their hands as we cross the street. Guide them through doors etc by the small of their back. At the 2nd bar I start sitting next to them even if it's a booth. But it's also good to have like a 2-3 bar plan of bars you like with good atmosphere for your dates. I like to start with a low lit place with good appetizers and signature cocktails, move to another place with signature cocktails and then usually finish at a dive bar. Then I have wine, whiskey etc at my place with hummus etc.

Chances are you're asking for permission in your tone when you're sitting next to her. You can preempt this issue by going to a place that has chairs. You can just pull up a chair next to her
