I don't have experience with being bald, but it would definitely be better looking to just shave it all off instead of hanging on to it.

Definetly does. I suggest you to look up some bald styles. Polo shirts look really good on bald men for example. Going bald will change your style drastically. I suggest you to look for a style that makess you look as bad ass as possible

My hair isn't receding is just thinking in the front. I personally like the bald head with beard look and been getting compliments from women but I know online dating works differently
