I was previously banned from hinge in 2021 and then never bothered again. I recently made a new account with new photos and was having solid success.

I am on vacation at the moment and I always use a VPN. I disabled it briefly because I had issues connecting to the wifi. I opened hinge as it was disabled and it said hinge is not available in this country. I re-enabled the VPN and I received the same error. Shortly after, I received a text from a girl I met in person off hinge and they had emailed her that I’d been removed due to fraudulent activity. Shortly after, I received the ban confirmation myself. I appealed, and it should come as no surprise that the appeal has been denied.

Is there any way around this? I can take a cool off period and can recreate an account with a new phone and number. But I’m now reading that I need new photos as well or else it will get flagged again.

What would be the most effective way to get around this and hop back on the app at some point? It was my most successful app out of the big 3. I can even pursue the ban appeal farther and threaten some third party dispute resolution. All I have received from hinge is automated responses and no reason why I was actually banned.

Any insight would be appreciated.
