I've been noticing that a majority of the "likes" I get are from girls outside of the distance range that I set (15 miles). I can tell this is happening because every now and then I'll see a girl pop up that's 30+ miles away despite my distance settings and if I swipe right it's an automatic match every time. I don't know if Tinder is purposely showing my profile more to girls farther away to entice me to buy Gold or not but I find it pretty sleazy.

No man, this is likely happening because you've swiped through most of the girls in your area. In addition, 30 miles is really not that far. I personally have my distance radius set to 50 miles. If you run good text game, a decent amount of chicks will be down to drive an hour.

I see, that probably explains it. I gotta be careful with my distance settings because I'm on Long Island and not too far north is Connecticut. Nothing against Connecticut girls but I doubt either of us will drive 3+ hours around NYC or pay some decent money for a ferry trip across the Long Island Sound to bang.
