I'm still mostly using the "Can I be honest" opener, but when they just say thanks, I feel like I could have a good stock respons but I dont

better to post the actual text thread my dude, but from what I think you're saying, just keep it moving by getting to know her more since I am guessing its still the opening stages. Things like
"Are you from here originally"
or
"What do you like to do for fun around here" (I like this one as it can lead to date ideas/close but found its better in person than text)
