Just get any modern hairstyle that is relevant today (quiff, pompadour, etc) and avoid old, ghetto ones (mullets, 80s rock band long hair, etc). As for styling, I would recommend getting a hair straightener that has at least 2 different heat levels and product from here: https://forteseries.com/collections/all-products. If you do plan on using a straightener on max heat as part of a hairstyle you pick, I would definitely go with argan oil as a heat protectant when your hair is damp. As for the rest, it all depends on the thickness of your hair and the hairstyle you're going for. Me for example, I have thicker hair so I would be ordering texture clay from the link above as that is what will hold my hair together.
