Hello fellow forum-users, I've eliminated down to ~15 photos (from over 130) to find out which is best suited for editing/preparing for a Tinder or OLD profile. I've accumulated some votes from female friends on which of these pictures are best, but the consistently favored ones are all ones where I have the plaid with a black t-shirt, and I don't want to include more than 1 or 2 of those. https://photos.app.goo.gl/qnY264N3aV7AN6738 So if picking a set of 3-6 pictures (probably 5), which ones would you recommend including? Which ones might you say "absolutely do not include"? What kinds of photos am I missing that should I aim to get in future photoshoots? Thanks in advance. Keep slaying it out there, -NightRoller

I agree to some degree, but I come off as somewhat nerdy in real life anyway (despite my best efforts) so I doubt that can be changed much.
Thank you for the comment, but do you have any actionable or useful advice to give?

Change your outfit and hairstyle, bulk up, get a tan and then get your pictures taken.

grow some facial hair a proper beard will make you look less nerdy and more mature.

Appreciate the suggestion, though my facial hair isn't full enough yet to look anything but messy. Will implement this after a few more years

Am bulking already with the gym, but recommendations on style (clothes/hair) are welcomed

  • Your wearing a t-shirt that’s visible under a shirt - avoid
-Most of your t shirts have lots of graphics and come off a bit childish.
-Best to stick to plain or more minimalist t-shirts.
-Your glasses come off as quite nerdy. Get something with a nice frame, Check out Daniel Craig’s glasses in Girl With a Dragon Tattoo.
-Go and see a proper hairdresser and ask them for a style that best suits you, your hair looks best in your last picture but would probably look better even shorter on the sides.

Your strongest current outfit is the flannel shirt with jeans, problem is your wearing it with running trainers and white socks. Get yourself a nice pair of boots and avoid white socks with jeans in the future.

For more help with style check out well built style on Twitter and look out for top 10 essentials lists like this - https://www.esquire.com/uk/style/fashion/news/g5743/20-things-every-man-should-have-in-his-wardrobe/ - they will help you get good foundations in your wardrobes (you don’t have to buy the pricy items they recommend, can get much cheaper).

I’m on this journey myself so just my two cents ✌️
