I've been talking with a few guys about the type of girls that are most amenable to cold DMs on Instagram. This is actually something I really didn't think about until a few months ago, even though I've been doing Instagram game for two years. I would just send DMs to every girl and wonder why I wouldn't get responses. There are really two types of girls: "Instagram girls" and everyone else. The confusing thing is that nowadays, everyone else has an Instagram too. So what is an Instagram girl? Instagram girls are girls whose primary audience is the Instagram community. Their profiles (and bodies) are on display for more than just their friends, family, and immediate social circle. This is an Instagram girl: https://www.instagram.com/sierragabriella. She is very clearly appealing to a universal audience. This is a non-Instagram girl: http://instagram.com/brittany_gronowski. Most of her photos are with family and friends, and her captions are directed towards them. This girl has Instagram, but is not an "Instagram girl", and is going to be much less receptive to you sliding in her DMs cold. Now, is it impossible? Hell no. I've done it. But it's going to be lower ROI than going after the Instagram girls. Now, there's also a third archetype: Instagram "bloggers" that view Instagram as a business tool. These chicks aren't going to be receptive, because it would be like you submitting an inbound lead of your DICK to their business. Example of a chick that's not going to respond amicably to a random DM: http://instagram.com/postcards.from.pansy. Personally, I have never had success with this archetype, but if anyone has, I'd be interested to hear about it.

So I guess the higher the popularity, the less the response, right? Would looking into the engagement percentage of their posts on some insta stats website be a helpful way to go about or the time ot takes to look this engagement number up wont be as of a better ROI compared to shooting her the text anyway haha?

Lol. Not really. Those aren't stats for a world wide test data. I would just focus on coming up with your own lines if you're that worried
