Im having trouble getting a few girls to engage from the get go. How could I proceed if they give me responses like "Oh" and "Thank you". I used to just respond matching their investment or call them out with "Love the enthusiasm", "Interesting", but it doesn't seem to go anywhere and the lead goes cold until I need to re-initiate with a double text. Often times I'll message a bait open loop but they don't respond like here "How are the other boys treating you on here" or "You may have one or two of my weaknesses" hoping she hooks on the bait but often times she doesn't respond back. So if she doesn't hook onto the open loop bait, how do you proceed? I usually wait 24 hours before double texting and try to give her some time to reply but I could use some guidance on how to proceed with situations like this because out of all my matches, the hotter girls that I'm actually interested in are the ones who are giving me trouble.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it. This is very helpful. I didn't think of it as Non-compliance, but now I have a better understanding, if she doesn't reply then treat it as non-compliance so don't reward with an IOI.
When I said "You're just my type" I was being sarcastic because she didn't reply, so it was kinda like saying wow..just my type. because of no response. But I didnt understand why some say "Thank you" like thank you that she's my type? kinda confusing so I didn't know what to say and when she says "Oh". I feel like a response like this is just as bad as no response because how am I supposed to proceed if she just responds like that do I just cut the thread and change the subject. Thats why I ended up saying how are the other boys treating you but in my situation, just to at least get her to reply with something I can work with thats not a boring 'hows your evening going' question. Any tips on more bait hooks I could use to get her to invest more just for the first few text exchanges? if I say something like 'well you may have at least one of my two weaknesses' and she doesn't reply... just wait about 3 days and then just answer my own question to re-initiate?

Haha. Yeah, sarcasm quite often gets lost over text. Especially, when the convo is just getting started and the 2 people don't really know each other. For your follow up text, to her having your weakness, the way you would continue that conversation would be "Am I wrong?"
