Tinder unband. Do I need to create new AppleID as well? Do I need to use VPN everytime I use Tinder?

Hi all! I would have 4 questions, regarding the unban procedure. Do I also need to create a new Apple or Google id/account for downloading the Tinder from the store or can I use the old one? Did it work for you with your old Apple ID? Do I need to use VPN just during the registration or every time I want to use Tinder to not detect my old public IP address? ( Doest Tinder check my IP address just during registration or every time/time to time I use the app? ) I called my ISP and they cannot change my public IP address, lol. But I want to avoid to use VPN all the time because drains the battery more and my location ( miles away distance ) in the app is not the best in some cases. As far as I know, Tinder also tracks your device id ( not just advertisement id), but with factory reset is your device id will be really reset? If I just remove the metadata and crop the pictures differently is enough to avoid ban again? Or do I need to use cloaking software (Fawkes) ? (One of my pictures can't be modified without artificial visible distortion, other pictures look like the original, so I have problem with just one picture(my best picture)) Many thanks for the help in advance!

DO NOT use a VPN on Tinder. That's what either got you or contributed to you getting shadowbanned in the first place. I've played around with this shit more than most dating coaches. There is only one way to overcome your issue right now and it it's doing an ultra hard reset. It sucks but it's up to you if you wanna follow through:

  • New device
  • New sim card
  • New number
  • New email
  • New network
  • New apple id
  • New credit card info (ideally one with a different name than your original one)
  • New IP address that's NOT a VPN (get a new router or only use 4g data when swiping that you get from the NEW phone/number)
  • New pictures

And even if you DON'T follow all these steps, you won't reset your ELO score. So even if you come around your shadowban, you're still stuck with the same score and essentially the same results.

You can possible use old pictures if you remove exif data and manipulate the pictures enough. But it's risky. Keep in mind, NO ONE knows 100% exactly how much Tinder is able to track the pictures. So this one is up to you. I would recommend getting new pictures and stepping up your game while you're going through all this trouble because your pics give you 90% of your results when it comes to getting matches anyways (eg. you can affect your number closes, dates, etc with text game but for matches, 90% of it's pics).

PS. Waiting 3 months doesn't actually work like people and Tinder claims it does (I've tried it and tested it, actually going 4 months). Doesn't reset anything.

Hello!

I really appreciate your advice, I had a successful reset 2 weeks ago, so I leave here for others what are the required steps:

I followed these:

  • Factory reset ( No new device needed! )
  • New SIM card ( and phone number ofc)
  • New email
  • New Gmail account for play store (Same as my new email address, I didn't do this at the this first time ) / OR new Apple ID
  • New IP address with VPN during registration ( it worked!! I didn't have have issue with VPN ), now I also tried my old IP address without VPN for a short time, I wasn't banned so far. ( However, I restarted my router, which generated a new address (but it didn't change my public address ). It doesn't matter what is your public IP address is, because I read that multiple households use the same address, If you are banned from your workplace's Wifi your colleagues won't be banned because they use the same network as you. So I think this IP thing is also over mystified, but you should restart your router before the registration )
  • I used all of my old pictures (5 pictures), just removed all metadata, and cropped them. I didn't use cloaking software. ( So good news you can actually use your old photos easily)
  • You can use / I used a new virtual debit card from Revolut to avoid ban.

I even verified my profile so the facial recognition algorithm doesn't run in the background I think. It is pretty safe to reuse your old photos and verify your profile with them!

I think my second ban ( the shadow ban) was because of my old google account when I tried to register again. I did everything except the new google account. But I only used the google account for downloading Tinder from the Google Playstore

That's great man. Keep crushing it. You won't be banned from using a VPN but shadowbanned down the line if you constantly switch the servers. So I would still be careful with that.
