She flaked. Did I make a mistake by instantly asking another day or was her flake reason solid enough to be okay in this situation?
If she doesn't respond within a day or two, my plan is to double text "don't think too hard now"

no you did not mess up and i think most likely she is telling the truth. i would give her more time to respond after four or five days you can use a simple takeaway "don't think too hard now"

UPDATE:
We're still texting but no date yet (she's been travelling but also quite flaky on texting, everytime I try to hard close the date she doesn't follow through in the end or doesn't reply to my text (see new screenshots). How to move forward from here?
