Saw a girl sitting by herself at Starbucks, decided to strike up a conversation which led to her giving me her number. How do I move this interaction forward (without getting into the details of the cold approach if it doesn’t help)? Is more investment needed from her before going for the soft close/meet up? If so, what‘s a good text to move this text exchange forward while getting her more invested?

But yeah, it's not gonna work out. The issue is that you just didn't make enough of an impression, which is why now she's like, "Who are you?" The conversation was probably too platonic. There's not enough sexual tension built. I think that's probably the issue. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to actually get her more invested over text. There's only so much you can do after the initial cold approach.

Interestingly enough, was able to get a longer response, although kind of a shit test (correct me if I’m wrong). Is it best to use your previous line to simply pass it? Not sure if the line is going to get me into a frame battle, but the “lol” could soften it

I think he didnt give his name in the beginning. He wrote her name instead. Thats the mistake, you always start by saying something like "Hey, It's [Insert name] from Starbucks or whichever place you met.
