I experimented with one of the newer lines Alex had mentioned to try. She has a picture of her paddle boarding in her profile, so would it be good to say “if you show me to how to paddle board” as a response. I feel like it opens the idea of an activity for us to do together. Thanks for the help.

Not great..you're giving the girl a compliance test from the very beginning before you've built any value. You're taking from her/trying to enter her reality instead of the other way around. If you don't have a lot of value in her eyes from the get-go, she will show non-compliance. You're better off building up some value/investment and hence compliance first.

You want to try to be playful in this context, playing off your profiles e.g. if you have a dog pic "You can't steal my dog! He's my guardian angel" and whatever she says, go off into some roleplay if you can. In this case, with her paddleboarding pic, you could say something like "You beat me in a paddleboarding race!" to set up a bit of a playful challenge.
