Met this girl around summer. We usually have a drink and flirt a bit for fun when we meet accidently somewhere, until we go our separate ways. Last time was past friday, same thing happened, I went with some other girl in the end. I decided to chat her up day after her birthday, out of boredom(stuck at home with flu+fever full week) and possibly to arrange something next week or so, when I get healthy. whole thing went kinda smooth, similar vibe like when we talk live, until I got silence on my last message (I think I was trying to be too smart for my own good). How to re-engage her from here and proceed? (I've posted text-convo bellow) Thanks (PS. Had to use text message generator instead of screenshots, to translate it from my language. Entire convo happened over several days. My response time was equal to hers or longer)

Not sure about triggering her. We joke like that live all the time, even with a lot more offensive things. Sometimes she would give me "the stare", I would double down, she would crack, and we would continue. That's why I don't know how to proceed...Should I maybe double down again? Like, "I guess I was right" or something? What do you think?

Doubling down is a good default rule, guys often get nervous about edgy humor and undermine themselves. I have no opinion here, you can read the situation better than me.
"I guess I was right, I need to cover you in honey"
^ puts something extra on to make replies easier, and hey maybe she'll agree to you covering her in honey in which case š

Thanks man. I think I'm double down with your honey line if something else doesn't pop in the next few days. If it flops, I can prolly just re-engage with some stupid meme week later anyway...
