I have two cats. I don't want the reply to sound too eager or too boring, so please help! Some replies I can think of are: "Tempting offer. Are you cuddly?" "What's in it for me? " or something else? Part of me would like to go with "Great, you grab a razor and an envelope, I'll grab a box and we'll exchange addresses" but maybe that's a little too much for an opening message, lol

Well that implicitly means I'm accepting her as the prize which I don't want to do. At least not this early. I could be more explicit and say something like "sounds like you're getting the better end of both situations š". Is that better?

You mention that you like to stroke a girl's hair in your bio, so it doesn't really make sense to pull back on that and call this an unfair trade.
I'd go with "Hm, is your hair worth it? They're good cats" or "Deal, and I'll trade you one nice suit for that whole pile too" depending on your sense of humor
