I had an eye exam at glasses store yesterday and my mom wanted to come for ride since she needed to run errands in same shopping center. I let her shop while I went to my appointment and got fitted for glasses. As I was trying on different pairs, one of the girls working there offered to help. Solid 9.5 blonde. We made small talk and flirted subtly. She was really friendly and smiley throughout interaction so I had feeling she was at least somewhat into me. Ended up picking pair she recommended and I was told glasses would be ready to pick up later that day. As I was finilazing purchase with the girl, my mom walks in to see how the glasses fit etc... I felt it would be awk to ask girl out in front of my mom so I decided I’d try when I came back later that day. Move forward a few hours, I go back to store to pick up glasses. When I saw girl was free, thanked her for helping me, said I thought she was cute and asked if she’d want to grab drinks sometime. She seemed surprised and stalled for a sec but smiled and said sure. Ended up putting my number in her phone which I now realized was dumb move on my part. She still hasn’t reached out. Found her IG. Not sure if I should dm her or just drop it UPDATE: just realized they never added anti-glare to the lenses so I’ll likely have to go back so they can fix. During our convo she said she works full time and is always there so there’s a high chance I’ll be seeing her when I go back. Not sure if I should re-initiate potential hanging out again if she never texted
