For a little backstory we are both college students and it’s finals time. She said she was stressed about final and I said “same here. Maybe I can provide a bit of a distraction.” She responds with “you can try!” and I’m not really sure where to go from here. I’ve used this line once before in a similar situation and I think I said something too gamey after and got ghosted so was wondering what a good response to this would be. Thanks.
