I matched with this girl I’ve known for about 20 years. I was never close with her, but was good friends with her friends (banged a few of them) back in the day. I randomly made out with her 10 years ago at a nightclub, but not sure if she remembers any of this. Anyways I think I should’ve bantered a bit more as I don’t think she was hooked yet. Maybe my last line was a little flat? I was just re-soft closing as it had been a week since we last texted. Is it fine to use a standard takeaway here, something like “if you’re too nervous I’d understand”, or say something else?

she almost certainly just forgot to respond. Your date isn't till TH. Give her till Wed & in case she doesn't respond you can say something like "hey still good for tomorrow"
but yea there is no issue here. you're just jumping to conclusions

Thanks man, we ended up going out a few days ago. We made out at the bar but I wasn’t able to bring her back. I pushed but she said she was on her period and I couldn’t convince her otherwise. So battling the point of no return here
She insta responded, not sure of my 2nd text though. I’d usually go for the soft close at that point but I wasn’t able to meet for 7 days as I had family staying with me. Should I just do a standard re engagement text with some callback stuff here in a few days?

yea exactly man. you have the right idea.. some call back humor and in a few days, plan the date. You can start planning about 4 days , or even 5 days, before your spot becomes available
