How do you deal with girls that are acting like total bitches on the first date? (I’m assuming they are pretty much showing low interest upon meeting up) . This past Friday night I had a terrible date with this chick that did the following:

1. She asked me “why did you pick this place?” implying she didn’t like it.
2. I told her I used to rock climb but stopped cause I got injured. So a few min later she tells me “when you mentioned you used to rock climb I was thinking you might be good for my friend”... clearly this is some form of shit test and I had no idea how to handle it. I called it out and she said “but when you said you were injured I figured it’s ok”. Pretty sure I bombed.
3. At some point we were talking about clothes and she mentioned that she was wearing leggings and she touched them... I went to touch them too and she slapped my hand lol
4. 1 1/2 hours in she started texting on her phone for 1 -2 min at a time,
5. At the end I asked her if she wanted to have wine at my place and she got offended, saying “I’m not going to your place”. I said why not, there are no expectations” and she just wasn’t down.
6. I realized there was no chance with her so I texted her yesterday asking her to set me up with her friend and she asked me if I’m desperate and then later said if I thought she was being serious about the friend that I’m a joke.

Clearly the date was an utter failure and I take full responsibility for it. So how do I handle these situations better and should I be screening out girls like this or did I just bomb the date? She was being difficult via texts from the get go, not wanting to meet near me (as if it was too much for her to invest). Should I have never gone on a date with a girl like that? Her overall vibe was very pompous and full of it.

Aside from this chick, I struggle tremendously on first dates. My ability to get a girl home is around 10 - 15% and most of my first dates go nowhere... I find that if the girl is into me I’m not that attracted to her so I just lose interest or many times girls I find attractive act very stiff and reserved (like the one from Friday night, except never as bad as her, she was the worst by far).

I tend to be in my head and don’t know how to fix this. Any help please. I’m finding myself not wanting to go on dates anymore cause it’s very frustrating and expensive after a while .

Everyone makes closing on dates sound so easy that I feel like there is something wrong with me sometimes.
