Maybe's it's a generational thing, but ASK the girl for her number, don't just give her yours. By asking, you're obtaining consent to take it to the next level. That, and it shows that you are confident in being given what you ask for, shows dominance. Giving your phone number makes you seem weak. "Here's my number, do with it what you will." That's been my observation over the years. Also, don't downgrade by going for IG when you clearly brought up phone numbers.

I partially agree. Yes phone number over ig, but giving a chick your number with a command like “text me” is also very effective and builds compliance
