I’ve been casually dating this chick for a month and things were going really well. Two weeks ago, she flaked on a date for the first time and started texting less, just before I had to go on a work trip. She still initiated rescheduling the date and we planned on doing something when I got back. While I was traveling, I didn’t text her at all. I got back the other day and texted her to schedule a date but now she’s ghosting me. She would always reply within an hour or two before this. How do I revive this? Not sure what to say. I think I may have fucked up by not texting and it may be time to move on, but I want to at least try because we had great chemistry and I actually liked hanging with her. Would really appreciate some advice @avilench .

Thanks man. I actually haven’t acted too attached or anything in person or over text. I just meant that in the past, every time we texted to coordinate the next meetup, she would always reply super quick. She has always acted way more invested than me over text and in person. I’m just overthinking it now because I could actually see myself dating this chick long term. So I’m wondering whether I should double-text or just move on.

Give it a few days and then try to re-engage. Wait at least 3-5 days between each attempt, then if nothing then move on, (perhaps start to text other girls asap). Girls are very flakey man, it sucks.
