You feeling like you're being judged by others around isn't something unusual. Most guys have that worry. There really isn't any kind of trick. You just have to find a way to push yourself into those situations to be embarassed. For one, you'll realize NOBODY gives a fuck. Two, guys will be jealous that you were able to do it. Third, girls around would find your boldness attractive (there's been times where girls have come to almost amog the girl for attention)... Once you get some success you'll overcome that fear rather quickly.
