I did LASIK in Mexico for $750 USD and I'm golden. Turns out Mexico is one of the best countries for eye surgery. They have top of the line equipment. If you need reccomendations hit me up. Save up $1500 go to mexico do surgery and hang around to party for a couple of weeks. Not good now due to covid. but keep in mind.

I heard Canada was good too but someone scared me out of getting lasik a while ago cause they were like "not even the eye doctors get lasik" and I kinda just didn't think about it anymore beyond that

I live in Canada. It's not that good actually. Because of laws, they're only able to use equipment that has been tested out on the public for 10 years, so what you use here it's 10 years old. In fact when I went for an estimate here on Canada. There was different options, mostly to do with larger pupils. (mine is large) They had to do special adjustments.

When I went to Mexico, I spent probably 2 weeks, trying to make sure I was getting the right surgery and my large pupils would be taken care off... It turns out that's not even a question in Mexico, your pupils are unique, so the machine already automatically accounts for that, you don't need anything special, just unique treatment for unique eyes, which is standard for every LASIK surgery we do here.. I was blown. My question was so outdated they didn't know what I was getting at...
