Back story: I never use OLD. I’m pretty attractive in person, so usually just roll with nightgame which gets me plenty of results. First time on tinder, matched this girl, she’s 18 I’m 20. Moved the convo to text. I generally have a no nonsense approach, so I try to get straight to the point and ask her out. She gives some resistance and a “maybe”. Since this conversation, she has actually messaged me to reignite the conversation, but I don’t know where to lead it - do I just persist and ask her out again, or try to talk to her more and THEN ask her out AGAIN....

I think she’s just a time waster.
She says “nothing just busy”, which I interpret as I don’t want to see you, cos if she’s got nothing in her life holding her back, then she’s choosing to hold back....
So I ghosted, and lo and behold, she reengaged again. But she messaged late and I was getting into bed, so cba to respond.

Ghosting was the right move, want to punish her non-compliance. Depends what you mean by time waster, will this girl be a pain in the ass and require a ton of persistence/time/effort to bang? Most likely. But can it be done? 100%. At least that's mindset to have. These girls are gonna be fucking SOMEBODY. So depends on you if she's worth it. Clearly this girl is a validation girl, you're prob good looking or high value in some way and she gets high off of talking to you. But probably needs more comfort/time to come out. Gotta keep in mind she's 18 right, prob shy as fuck. Or maybe she's going through some shit rn.
If you're going to reply here, definitely do a DHV. If you ceebs putting in a lot of effort to vibe, build rapport/comfort, just be minimal & DHV hard any opportunity. She will come through when there's enough value, as she would for Brad Pitt

Yeah she seems like the shy girl next door, hence the homebody joke at the start of our interactions last week. She’s also doing A-Level exams which are pretty important here in the UK, so she’s probs a bit stressed, but I don’t see that as an excuse to not let her hair down and have some fun.
We’ve had some fun and flirty conversation, she said she likes my confidence in a good way, I know something clearly does attract her but fuck me it’s effort lol
Never heard of DHV before but will read into it. I know I could bang her but I’m still deciding whether the effort/pain in the ass like you said...
