So heres the screenshot. I get the vibe she had a bad breakup, OR im not gonna ignore the major possibility she was just being nice and isnt interested. For context, this is a girl i worked with a couple years back and recently found on Insta and hit up (was a bit of a pussy back then, big regret of mine is not talking to her more then although in fairness at the time she had a bf). Again its not Tinder so theres not that social contract, she never asked to talk to me and i dont want to be a dick and overstep because i hate when guys get pushy, but i do know like Alex says theres a difference between needy and persistent. Complete honesty my gut feeling here is to just take a knee, she's not interested which i completely understand and respect, and I feel like the best course of action is to let this one go, but i wanted a second opinion first.

True, honestly though I just wouldn't know how to follow it up from there, because obviously she would bring up me asking her on a date if i said that idk how to reverse track on that. Ultimately i ended up taking a knee on this one, the thing that made me decide to was that when I showed her to my friend, he said he saw her on Tinder and just today he saw her on Bumble too. So clearly she was trying to nicely say she's not attracted to me since clearly she is looking for something just not me.
