1 tinder is actively hated by the majority of its female user base. Girls always talk about hating tinder and it reflects in the conversations you have strongly. You are much more likely to get one word answers or be left on read, even with a good profile. Contrast this to bumble where girls will usually try to get to know you at a much higher rate. 2 tinder is extremely saturated. As a guy if you have one dating app there's a 95% chance it's tinder. So the competition is far higher. I think 7-9 guys for every girl. All of these guys are trying to get laid, roughly half the girls are just looking for attention or validation. 3 I haven't seen this mentioned but the upgraded likes of platinum drastically changes the Meta of the app. The most average girl gets hundreds of likes and those that have the platinum priority will be seen first. This means a non platinum user will be far later in the stack (girls don't swipe as quickly as guys generally so there's a good change high elo girls will never get to see you at all) even at 35$ a month gold was very common and I imagine the majority of gold users upgraded to plat. This is potentially a good thing however if you choose to invest. I probably will and will post about it. Either way free users are at an extreme disadvantage because if a girl wants to get laid with a hot guy she can probably find one after 30 matches and if plat works as they say it does chances are that guy will be a platinum member 4 low customization. Pretty simple. Hinge is great because it really allows you to be super witty in your profile. This is great. If you're charismatic you can win a lot of points AND you can screen girls with a similar sense of humor which allows wittier game. I've had girls say my profile is super interesting and be highly invested off the bat. Simply not as common on tinder where all you get is a bio and job title pretty much. WHAT IM SAYING IS: I close ten times more on bumble I have more fun and meet cooler girls on hinge Tinder is an important part of your online dating repertoire but only a piece of the pie.
