Girl initially showed high investment prior to date, after date it tapered off to the point to leaving me on read on two separate occasions. I get it, she's not that into me currently, despite the date having good conversation and flirtation on both ends. Jw if it's even worth still pursuing with follow up texts 3-4 days later since we've already met up in person.

As a rule of thumb you should always try to close on the first date. It’s very common for a girl to disappear or flake if you don’t close on an in person date. I’d say reopen with “a woman of few words...” or one of the standard reopens and hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

You want to escalate to sex or at least something sexual. Sex is the ultimate investment she can give, if you don’t bang on the first date it’s significantly harder to reopen and close later.
