Ok cool, good to know. I guess it just takes a while till you profile starts getting viewed more once you make those changes. But I mean, my profile wasn't that terrible either. I had a variety of decently cool pics in different settings. The kind of experience I've had for the last few months on the app would make it seem like I'm freaking Quasimodo or something lmao... doesn't seem congruent with reality (everyone irl seems surprised I've been having trouble on here lately and for some reason they assume I'm killing it on there based on appearance alone), unless there's like a certain threshold when it comes to profile quality that you need to have, and if you're even a bit below that, you get basically nothing.

It's weird think that must mean that sometimes even women who are like 5s are swiping left, even though in real life they'd jump at that chance or be lining up, and in many situations I don't even have problems with like 7s. Funny how things change so much when people are behind a screen and the impression of endless options exists. It's also those dudes who are swiping on everyone that are ruining it for the rest of us lol.

You're right. In the process of testing things out though, your profile can take hits and those damn algorithms then mess with you, but I guess that's part of the game. But yeah I'll see if I can try to strike that balance between kinda goofy and wittily self-deprecating vs more traditionally masculine and suave. Identifying high value isn't the easiest thing though.
