"Ablas englais chica" doesn’t exist in portuguese. Where did you even get this opener from? Im sure not from google translate. The correct way to say that would be something like “Fala inglês?”, “Você fala inglês?”, perhaps even “Fala inglês, gata?” or “tu fala inglês?” in the south of brazil where they use a lot of “tu”. I’m sure you’re already turning a bunch of chicks off by making it clear upfront you’re only a sex tourist that didnt even bother searching the language. (I lived in Brazil for most of my life, a lot of people do not like being mistaken as spanish speakers by foreigners, it shows a lot of ignorance about the culture ). I can see AT LEAST a couple of leads falling through the cracks due to that mistake.
