I was in a park and this girl was staring extremely hard. I was in fact very nervous and intimidated. She kept staring without breaking eye contact. After like 30 minutes i find the balls to approach her, and she immediately tells me she has a boyfriend.

The weird thing is, when i go sit back, she's back staring at me.

Why would she do this and how common it is? Was i supposed to persist a bit?
