Transitioning from app to phone, first response after the girl texts you

Hi Guys, I followed Alex's advice of including my phone and have the girl text me first. Since I already set up the dates before the number, I usually just use texting for boring date logistics. But I was wondering if maybe there's a playful/fun response people use to that first text (Usually the girls just say something like Hi David, this is

Two routes. You get there number which I prefer. And you give yours. Much easier to get there’s. Easier to text first. Easier to add the contact first. Usually I say “hey it’s name from the thing” They respond. Usually I then go to the social media route. Having a good Instagram will get you bonus points. Being in shape will get you bonus points. “What’s your insta” followed by “I wanna make sure you’re not some 300lb black dude” they respond. From there you should have already hinted at a date. Get through scheduling. Set a date. Preferably a wine date straight to the house. Dm for help on insta. davis_bigelow

The best response is one that plays on any jokes or themes you mentioned in your convo earlier BUT if she is already following your command, I would not emphasize trying so hard on the first text and instead save it to keep her engaged/intrigued during the slower texting period that leads up to the date
You don't ALWAYS need to be playful/funny; I struggle with this the most so I get it, always wanting to one up yourself and whoever else she is messaging. Often the guy who tries less gets way more, identify when it is time to be that guy. Good luck man you got this!

Thanks bro. I think you nailed it with the funny guy syndrome. As long as i'm getting dates I'm just going to stick to boring logistics texts and use humor lightly.
